About the event

KCLB is hosting our annual Fall Cleanup event on October 11th 2025.

We are looking for volunteers to help us clean up the Canyon Lake area including popular roadways, boat ramps, lake shoreline, waterways, gardens, and trails to Keep Canyon Lake Beautiful.  All supplies will be provided as well as prizes and lunch!

The meeting location to check-in and pick up supplies is at the CRRC Pavilion Parking lot located at 125 Mabel Jones Dr., starting at 8:00 am until 8:30 am. (On the South Access Rd. across from the Library near Canyon Dam.) 

  • Please sign-up for the location you want to clean by October 6th, 2025.  

  • Volunteers must provide their own transportation to and from the cleanup site unless other arrangements have already been made with the event coordinator. 

  • Student groups are required to have an adult leader present during the cleanup.

  • Event Setup

    Assist with day of set up and volunteer check-in.

  • Park Cleanup

    Remove litter/trash from parks in the Canyon Lake area.

  • Trail Cleanup

    Litter/trash will be removed from popular Canyon Lake area trails.

  • Boat Ramps- Northside

    Remove trash/litter at boat ramps located on the North side of the lake.

    $0.00

  • Boat Ramps- Southside

    Remove litter/trash from boat ramps located on the South side of the lake.

  • Roadside Cleanup

    Remove litter/trash from roadways in the Canyon Lake community. Must be 16 or older.

  • Trash Collection

    Pick up trash from cleanup locations when groups are finished. All trash will be taken to the dumpster at the WORD office. Must have a truck.

  • End of Day Tear Down

    Assist with loading and unloading supplies at the pavilion and WORD office after the clean up.

  • Food Prep

    Assist with setting up and tearing down the meal at the pavilion.
