2026 Fun Fish

Keep Canyon Lake Beautiful (KCLB) was proud to be part of this year’s Fun Fish event hosted by WORD of Comal County, an exciting day dedicated to connecting local youth and families with the outdoors through the joy of fishing.

The event brought together children from across the community, many experiencing fishing for the very first time. With rods in hand and plenty of encouragement from volunteers, participants had the opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence, and create lasting memories along the water’s edge. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, learning, and a shared appreciation for the natural beauty that makes Canyon Lake such a special place.

KCLB was honored to attend and engage with families throughout the day, sharing our mission of environmental stewardship and the importance of keeping our waterways clean and healthy. Events like Fun Fish provide a meaningful opportunity to connect with the next generation, helping young participants understand that protecting our environment starts with simple, everyday actions.
