Keep Canyon Lake Beautiful Welcomes Two New Board Members!
Keep Canyon Lake Beautiful (KCLB) is excited to welcome two new members to our Board of Directors! As our organization continues to grow and expand its efforts to protect and preserve the natural beauty of Canyon Lake and the Guadalupe River, we’re grateful to welcome new perspectives, ideas, and passion for our community.
Our board members play an important role in guiding KCLB’s mission, supporting community cleanup efforts, building partnerships, and promoting environmental stewardship throughout the area. With the addition of these two new members, we look forward to continuing our work to keep our parks, waterways, and public spaces clean, beautiful, and enjoyable for everyone.
Meet Our New Board Members
Karlynn Miller

My name is Karlynn, and I'm thrilled to be a board member for KCLB. Being a good steward to my environment and encouraging others to do the same is a very near and dear mission to me. I have a bachelor's degree in Water Resources from Texas State University, and I'm currently working on a master's degree in Hydrology and Water Security from University of Oklahoma. My passion for conserving natural resources and wildlands keeps me devoted to this education path and bettering my community. When I'm not focused on the health of our ecosystems and resources, you can find me in the ceramics studio, tending to my 105 (too many) plants, or spending time with my partner and our 2 dogs, Misa and Cooper. My family has called Canyon Lake home for generations, and I'm so excited to have the opportunity to help keep it a beautiful and healthy place with KCLB.
We’re excited to have Karlynn join the KCLB Board of Directors and look forward to the experience, ideas, and enthusiasm they’ll bring to our organization.
Michael Riordon

Canyon Lake has been part of Mike Riordon's story since childhood, when he spent his time exploring the area's rural roads, rolling hills, and natural spaces. That early connection grew into a career dedicated to protecting the places and resources that make the Texas Hill Country special. With a decade of experience as a Park Ranger, Mike works to connect people with their natural and cultural heritage and inspire greater appreciation for the region. He is excited to serve the Canyon Lake community as a member of the Keep Canyon Lake Beautiful board, working alongside fellow residents to help ensure this special place remains beautiful for future generations.
Please join us in welcoming Mike to the KCLB Board of Directors! We’re looking forward to working together and seeing the positive impact they’ll help make in our community.
Looking Ahead
